Flying Sun App

Flying Sun app is pre-installed on the FS500 Pilot Pro, it wirelessly connects to the tether ground unit and monitors and controls the flying sun system.

Monitoring system status:

Monitoring tether power during the flight is important. Be careful not to draw over the limit of the tether system. (3000W)

Keep an eye out for tether extension, keep in mind that the tether ground unit will sound an alarm when extension length reaches 90m.

Tether zero point is when extension length is at 0.0m, there will be more information about this later on.

Enable/Disable HV (High Voltage):

Toggle HV on/off using Enable/Disable HV button

Take up:

Press TAKE UP button to retract tether cable for storage. This feature is only available when HV is off.
